About ZoGa

The two halves of ZoGa are Medha Gandhi and Brandon Zornes, whose artistic moniker is a portmanteau of their last names (Zornes & Gandhi). Their journey from art hobbyists to showcasing a major exhibition was a creative roller coaster, traveling along the tracks of the pandemic. Through ZoGa, Medha and Brandon craft bold, colorful, and imaginative visual art that reflects their unique perspectives and vibrant personalities.

Beyond their passion for art, Brandon and Medha are deeply committed to philanthropy. A portion of the proceeds from their art sales has been donated to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a Kenya-based organization dedicated to wildlife protection and habitat preservation in Sub-Saharan Africa. They also support other causes close to their hearts, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Alzheimer’s research. This advocacy grounds their belief in art as a force for positive change in the world.

ZoGa is always seeking new ways to express creativity through different mediums. Their foray into the digital art space reflects their commitment to pushing creative boundaries and making art more accessible to mainstream audiences. ZoGa thrives at the intersection of innovation, art, and connection, creating opportunities for fans and collectors to engage with their work in exciting new ways.

Medha Ghandi

Medha Gandhi is a vibrant radio personality, creator, artist, and co-host of the nationally syndicated "Elvis Duran and the Morning Show" on New York's Z100—the most-listened-to Top 40 morning show in the U.S., reaching over eight million weekly listeners. On-air, Medha captivates audiences with her quick humor, relatable storytelling, and infectious energy.

Proud of her Indian heritage, Medha great-great-granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, though she playfully describes her side as the “black sheep” of the iconic legacy. Her family’s adventurous, unconventional spirit profoundly shaped her outlook on life, fostering her creativity, boldness, and unapologetic individuality. She often celebrates her culture in her work, blending humor and relatability to bring a modern twist to tradition, sparking conversations about identity, representation, and diversity.

Beyond radio, Medha is a gifted visual artist, creating captivating works alongside her partner, Brandon, as ZoGa. Her art merges surrealism with bold, modern aesthetics, often exploring themes of identity, human connection, and the balance between chaos and serenity. Her creations—ranging from intensely textured paintings to vibrant digital works—showcase her ability to translate her dynamic personality and cultural influences into visually stunning pieces.

Medha’s journey has been anything but conventional. Before joining Z100, she built a standout career in radio, working with iHeartMedia stations in Boston and Cleveland. Her charm and boundary-pushing creativity quickly made her a respected industry voice.

Whether making listeners laugh on the radio, creating awe-inspiring art, or breaking down cultural barriers with authenticity, Medha embodies a perfect blend of fun, intellect, and creativity. She reminds us all to embrace who we are, celebrate our differences, and approach life with humor, passion, and purpose.

Brandon Zornes

Brandon is a multifaceted creator whose journey into art began during the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally from Uniontown, Kansas, he served in the U.S. Navy from 2004 to 2011, an experience that instilled in him discipline, resilience, and a global perspective. After his military service, he pursued a career in the automotive industry, developing a meticulous attention to detail that now informs his artistic process.

In 2019, Brandon’s life took a creative turn when he met Medha. During the pandemic lockdowns, they began painting together, using art as a way to stay connected and explore their creative sides. Their sessions led to the birth of ZoGa, a name blending their last names and a collaborative identity that brings together their love for bold, colorful, and textured compositions.

Wildlife motifs—including elephants, lions, and koalas—are often featured in their work, symbolizing strength, wisdom, and resilience. Brandon’s passion for travel has deeply influenced his artistic style, drawing inspiration from his Navy deployments and his adventures with Medha, particularly in Kenya, where they supported wildlife conservation efforts. These experiences infuse his art with textures, colors, and emotions drawn from real-world encounters, giving each piece a unique perspective and story.

Brandon is a strong advocate for the cannabis industry and its ability to promote wellness, alleviate pain, and spark creativity. Drawing from personal experience, he is particularly passionate about destigmatizing cannabis use and raising awareness about its medicinal benefits, especially for veterans and those seeking alternative healing options.

Through ZoGa, Brandon continues to merge his love for art, travel, and advocacy, creating works that inspire, connect, and spark conversation. His journey—from military service and the automotive industry to the art world—reflects his unique blend of discipline, creativity, and a passion for making a meaningful impact through art.
